Position Summary:

Located within the Environmental, Health and Safety Organization, this person will lead the development of environmental sustainability goals, metrics and support tools, and facilitate their implementation within the Xerox research and design communities; Help researchers and designers make environmentally sound decisions by guiding the consideration of health impacts, ecosystem impacts, global vs. local consequences, and the tradeoffs involved.
Responsibilities
• Understand external trends and stakeholder priorities and their applicability to the Xerox business.
• Leverage the critical knowledge and skills within the Xerox EH&S organization to establish a systems-based approach to guide decisions.
• Apply life cycle methodologies and tools to guide decisions.


Requirements:

• BS in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biology, or Chemistry. Masters in Public Policy or Public Health, or MBA, preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in life cycle environmental assessments, including life cycle inventories and defining life cycle scope.
• Systems-based thinker with demonstrated experience in weighing health impacts, ecosystem impacts, global vs. local consequences, and the tradeoffs involved.
• Experience in public policy development relating to environmental design.
• Experience developing and implementing environmental design programs; product development experience desired.
• Strong working knowledge of external landscape regarding emerging environmental regulation and stakeholder expectations.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience.
