Position Summary:

As part of the Business Operations team within Xerox North America, you will be part of a highly motivated group helping Xerox achieve desired revenue targets. Reporting to the Vice President, Business Operations, this role requires a person with expert knowledge of the GSA's multiple award schedule (MSA) process and terms, while possessing the business acumen to counsel Xerox senior leadership regarding possible impact to other business decisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects associated with the negotiation, administration, and day-to-day compliance of Xerox' federal contracts. Additionally, on behalf of Xerox, the individual will serve as a liaison to senior governmental officials, contracting officers, and industry associations.


Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate and/or identify potential risks to contract compliance and work with appropriate individuals across multiple organizations to resolve;
  • Remain current with possible GSA structural legislative changes under consideration and how they may impact Xerox;
  • Thoughtful management of several existing key relationships, while forging new relationships to advance Xerox' objectives;
  • Ensure Xerox is aligned with the appropriate federal contract programs to maximize revenue opportunities across all governmental agencies;
  • Provide the expertise and leadership throughout all stages of the GSA bid process to ensure the foundation of the contract does not limit business opportunities.


    Requirements:

    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of business experience, including experience in negotiating and operating through multiple GSA MSA contract cycles. This role requires experience in effectively managing all aspects of public sector contracts, preferably within the IT industry. In addition, this person must be motivated, able to influence decisions, and lead through cross-functional environments. The successful candidate must be skilled in negotiating pricing and/or marketing IT products and services.

  • Proven track record of high achievement in both educational and professional environments.
  • Ability to articulate the impact of the contract terms to enable timely and significant business decisions, ranging from pricing matters to origin of manufacturing of products being sold under GSA contract.
  • Record of functioning as a strong, creditable and collaborative leader that has negotiated and managed federal contracts through multiple terms.
  • Knowledgeable of legal matters and manufacturing techniques to be able to identify potential risks to contract clauses.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and gain commitment at all organizational levels.
  • High professional ethics, good judgment, the ability to take decisive action.
  • Superb communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • MBA degree from an accredited program is preferred.
