Position Summary:
The Information Architect/ User Interface Designer will be based in Rochester, NY and will supportEEP current and future state architecture and design.
Responsibilities
Taxonomy creation and information design for websites and web-based applications.
Shepherd the design process and drive decisions
Develop design standards and contribute to the Intranet Development Guidelines
Produce process flows, annotated wire-frames, design prototypes, and functional design specifications for web applications
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
Requirements:
2-5 years previous experience as an Information Architect with samples of work
Ability to communicate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members.
Knowledge of programming languages and design tools such as HTML, CSS, Flash, web editing tools: eg. Photoshop, etc
Experience with iRise or similar rapid prototyping / requirements tool a plus
Xerox Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt; Green Belt preferred
