Position Summary:
Test process design for printer circuit boards and engineering support of product development.
Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing production test fixtures to test printer control circuitry, includes designing hardware and software, and working with mechanical design team and support technicians.
Documenting and supporting test fixture deployment to contract manufacturers, typically in Southeast Asia/China.
Trouble-shooting prototype circuitry.
Participating in compliance testing and/or stress testing.
Writing Verilog code for programmable components, and/or C functions to configure on-board parts or drivers to control communications circuitry.
Writing JavaScript functions to control and evaluate testing.
Requirements:
BS in electrical or computer engineering or computer science.
1-3 years experience in design of both digital and analog circuits in a product development environment a plus.
Experience with electronic CAD systems, and FPGA/PLD design tools.
Experience in programming, preferably in C and/or Javascript. Familiarity with embedded systems and/or Unix is a plus.
Familiariaty with Microsoft Office tools; excellent oral and written communications skills.
Must be a self-motivated, dedicated team player comfortable with working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
Some overseas travel is required.
