Position Summary:

This Manager will be part of the printhead process development group and will be responsible for developing new manufacturing processes for the next generation of solid ink printheads. As part of the development effort the candidate will be responsible for meeting performance, yield, Cpk, cost, reliability, and volume production scalability goals for the process and project.


Responsibilities:

  • Development of people who develop processes in a clean room.
  • Finding and developing new technologies to drive our front end & pzt attach processes to lower cost and higher yield.
  • Required to schedule and track prototype builds through the development lab, responsible for improving process yields in area of responsibility, support problem solving activities, and meet the process objectives and project goals.
  • Manage the process transfer to manufacturing and the production ramp.


    Requirements:

    Relevant knowledge areas for the position include, but are not limited to:
    People management, team leadership, vision communication, performance documentation, and technical knowledge of conductive films and adhesives, lamination processes, surface preparation and cleaning, optimization of adhesive curing processes, accelerated reliability testing, design for manufacturing and assembly, and applied problem solving.
  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Materials Science and a minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Previous experience in mid volume low cost production products is desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, organization and influencing skills required.
  • Familiarity with DBMS such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server.
