Job Description:

Position Summary:

Technical and business process expert within domain practice area that acts as business leader, change agent and staff developer across Xerox Global Services. The Principal develops professional relationships with key client executives, which leads to opportunities for large deals and sustained client relationships. A Principal must demonstrate a blend of highly effective characteristics beyond his/her technical expertise including presence in front of customers and leadership among his/her peers.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop deep client relationships, build client confidence and close deals.

  • Drive large deals through teamwork with Business Development Manager:

  • Understand specific customer issues.

  • Define & develop the appropriate response.

  • Present bid, negotiate terms and gain contract.

  • Manage client relationship through delivery.

  • Focus on customer satisfaction, service delivery quality, revenue growth and financial profitability.

  • Provide coaching and continuous development across Xerox Global Services.

  • Expert-level knowledge and understanding of technologies, industry-specific business processes, selling methodologies and delivery process to develop and implement solutions addressing complex business issues of customers.

  • Ensure profitability.

  • Strong partnership and credibility with Sales and Delivery organizations.

  • Approximate activity:

  • 50% of time spent developing new business. – working with clients and account teams in presentations, scope work, seminars, and client communications.

  • 25% of time billing at the project management and assessment /reporting level.

  • 25% of time spent developing strategy, facilitating recruitment and coaching, and sharing expert domain knowledge across Xerox Global Services.


    Requirements:


  • Strong credibility with clients.

  • Utilizes consultative skills to identify customer pain points as well as develop and manage complex statements of work.

  • Strong contract and project management skills with the ability to architect complex proposals.

  • Strong communication [including written and presentations] and negotiations skills.

  • Able to develop internal and external ROI and business cases.

  • Knowledge of six sigma.

  • Strong analytic & problem solving skills to solve complex problems.

  • In-depth selling and delivery methodologies knowledge.

  • Proven ability to influence decisions.

  • P&L mastery that drives project profitability.

  • Strong partnership with Sales and Delivery organizations.

  • Able to raise issues with others in a way that maintains trust and credibility.
