Position Summary:
Contribute directly to systems revenue plan achievement by providing technical and analytical expertise in the sale and support of Xerox Production Printers and solutions. Presales responsibilities will include solution development, application validation and solution implementation. Provide post sales support for the resolution of application, software and connectivity problems when on-site analyst support is required.
Contribute to team Professional Services plan by selling consulting services, new application development and volume building activities. Help meet or exceed customer satisfaction goals established for Professional Services team.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical and analytical pre-sale support for production printing systems and solutions.
Identify customer application opportunities for Xerox products and Third Party Solutions
Gather quantitative and qualitative data about customer applications and environment in support of sales strategies
Gather & analyze customer data to assure flawless implementation of networked and centralized host environment solutions
Prepare and present technical sections of proposals, including structured implementation plan
Provide customer presentations of applications and customized product demonstrations
Perform customer care visits and ongoing volume building activities within installed accounts
Contribute to development of sales strategy in key accounts
Achieve systems revenue for territory
Achieve consulting services budget
Requirements:
BS/BA (Computer Science / Information Management, Business or Graphic Design) or Network Certifications preferred. Equivalent field experience also considered.
Proficient level of knowledge and skill in one or more of the following areas: Networks/LAN, Operating Systems (Windows, UNIX, and Macintosh), print shops, data center and centralized host environments.
Full working knowledge of one or more Xerox product sets: DocuTech, DocuPrint, DocuColor, FreeFlow suite, DocuSP, etc.
Strong analytical and process skills, including experience with documentation and redesign
Experience integrating and implementing complex, customized network systems
Excellent written and verbal skills
Team player, proactive attitude and organization skills required
