Requirements:

Manager of Operations - Productions
The Productions Manager position involves overseeing XLS' Productions department and staff to ensure the overall success of the department, of the Operations group, and of the organization as a whole. The position will require direct supervision of 10-15 direct reports in a high pressure, 24x7x365 environment. It also requires close interaction with other Operations managers, team leaders, and staff members; and timely status reporting to all stakeholders, including Client Managers. The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communications skills, exceptional follow through, and the ability to manage and motivate team members. Some technical knowledge, particularly of SQL and basic script coding, would be extremely beneficial, but is not required. Technical expertise in IT related fields of networking, storage technologies, and media burning would be beneficial as well. The position also requires significant project management responsibilities in conjunction with their role as an Operations Manager. Finally, it is also expected that the position will require extensive direct client interaction.
Requirements

  • 1-3 years of proven experience in managing technical teams to deliver exceptional product and service;
  • Experience in a high volume, time sensitive, high pressure product and service delivery environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising and coaching, direct reports and preparing them for future leadership roles
  • Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to a rapidly growing, dynamic environment
  • Experience in achieving daily Service Level Agreements
  • Experience in monitoring workflow and supplying data to support metrics/reporting to track performance
  • Experience in continuous improvement methodologies
  • Excellent communications skills; ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization, including executive management
  • Proven ability to communicate problems and solutions directly to clients at the highest level.
  • Strong work ethic, with 24x7x365 availability;

  • Strong technical background in client/server, network, database and/or software development Experience in running a data processing Operations organization
  • Exposure to the legal industry
  • Experience inInternet technologies
  • Strong SQL and/or scripting skills
